Medan as the capital of Sumatera Utara (North sumatera) has the regional minimum wage at Rp 1.197.000/month. As one of the biggest city in Indonesia, the Medan's UMR is not big enough. But I hope in the near future, the UMR of Medan will increase drstically so that the employees able to live better.
