Senior Pre-Sales Consultant Needed!

Our client, a reputable multinational telecom services company, is seeking a professional for its Indonesia operation based in Jakarta with the following tasks/criteria:


· Develop telecommunication solutions to meet customer business requirements (through the collection and analysis of the business needs to understand the customer requirements)

· Design the solution including the technical architecture, service level agreements, costing, delivery schedule, etc.

· Perform the customer facing activities such as presentations and negotiation in conjunction with the Account Manager


· Support Sales in telecommunication solutions design, managed networks services, or contracts

· Maintain a high degree of technical knowledge of all products, services and solutions sets of the company

· Contribution to the Knowledge Management - Bid Management Repository

· Based on specific skills and project assignment, work activity could be focused at the regional, territory or local level

· Ability to interface with customers as required in support of internal sales, operational personnel, or established third party relationships

· Expected to act in a coaching role and provide support to less experiences team members

· In order to encourage skill growth for career development and support expansion / strengthening of teaming, the Pre-sales consultant can have a billable revenue target based on the level and area of subject matter expertise


· A relevant degree with minimum of 5 years related work experience in customer facing organizations within the telecom or IT industry or equivalent

· CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert) is preferred but not mandatory

· Ability to

o engage and partner with customer at a detailed technical level

o deliver solutions which provide high value throughout the full life cycle of the contract

o deliver high value, billable consulting services as appropriate

o identify and develop key partner and vendor relationships as required to deliver fully integrated solutions

o diagnose problems and resolve quickly

· Good knowledge in network systems, communications interfaces protocols, circuits, hardware and diagnostic tools

· Good experience on deploying Call Centre solutions and telephony (Cisco and Avaya); Convergence (VOIP) and gatekeeper technology; security solutions

· Strong technical knowledge in FR, IP and ATM technology

· Good communication skills in English, customer service attitude, presentation skills, results oriented, people management skill, conflict management, and negotiation skill

· Willing to travel in Asia Pacific region on short notice
